Course Overview

Every product people love is built on good design. Apps, websites, payment screens, food delivery flows, banking dashboards, and e-commerce checkouts all succeed or fail based on how easy and enjoyable they are to use. Companies today treat user experience as a business priority, not just a creative task. This course by Eduden is designed for students from MBA, BBA, Commerce, Economics, Arts, and other non design backgrounds who want to understand how digital products are designed and improved. You will learn UX thinking, UI fundamentals, and Figma in a practical classroom environment and build design projects that can be shown in interviews, internships, and placements.

This course focuses on practical UX/UI skills that are useful in product, marketing, consulting, and startup roles. Students will learn how to research users, map customer journeys, apply design thinking, create wireframes, design clean screens in Figma, build clickable prototypes, and test designs with real users. The goal is not to make students professional graphic artists. The goal is to help them think like a user, communicate design decisions in business language, and confidently contribute to product and digital teams. By the end of the course, students will have wireframes, Figma designs, prototypes, and case study write-ups that can add real value to their CV.

Learning Objectives by the end of this course, students will be able to: understand what UX and UI mean and why they matter to business and product strategy; conduct basic user research through interviews, surveys, and observation; map customer journeys and identify pain points and opportunities; apply the design thinking process to real business problems; create wireframes and clickable prototypes in Figma; apply visual hierarchy, typography, color, spacing, and layout principles; write clear and simple UX copy for screens and flows; run basic usability tests and turn feedback into design improvements; present design work with business reasoning during interviews and reviews.

Assignments: Students will complete assignments on user interviews, journey mapping, wireframe sketching, Figma screen design, UX writing, prototype building, and usability test reporting.

Quizzes: Short quizzes will test understanding of UX terms, design thinking stages, UI principles, typography and color basics, prototyping concepts, and usability testing methods.

Live Sessions: Live classroom sessions will include Figma demonstrations, guided design practice, doubt clearing, design critiques, case study discussions, and project reviews.

Expected Outcomes: By the end of the course, students will be comfortable using Figma, confident in explaining UX concepts, capable of designing and testing simple digital products, and ready to work with product, design, and marketing teams.

Career Relevance for Management Students: Management students who understand UX/UI stand out in product management, consulting, marketing, and startup roles. They can speak the language of both business and design teams, evaluate digital products critically, and contribute to product decisions from day one. Recruiters increasingly prefer management candidates who can show real design thinking work rather than only classroom theory.

How It Helps in CV Building: Students can add journey maps, Figma projects, prototypes, usability reports, and the final capstone case study to their CV and LinkedIn. This gives recruiters proof that the student can work on real digital products and not just speak about user experience theoretically.
